Join our busy Merchandise & Reception Team this Christmas

Bakehouse is looking for some fantastic individuals to join our Merchandise and Reception team. You will be working on our magical Christmas Grotto experience at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.

Day-time hours: 

  • Weekends only in November.
  • Full time and part time available 1st – 24th December.

Priority will be given to those who can take on more shifts. Incentives given to those who complete all of their shifts.

We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, hard-working, team players, with a passion for great customer service… and the desire to spread plenty of Christmas joy!

You will need to have:

  • A background in customer-facing roles such as hospitality, front of house, theatre or sales and retail is essential.
  • An ability to work calmly under pressure, in busy environments.
  • Experience in cash handling, using tills, and an aptitude to grasp technology – you will be required to learn how to use photo-printing and booking systems.
  • Great people skills. You’ll be required to switch between reception and merchandise which will involve a range of duties including queue management and on-the-spot problem solving, dealing cheerfully and efficiently with walk-ins and late-comers.

Applicants should be:

  • Fantastic at multitasking e.g taking payments whilst creating merchandise will be a huge part of the job
  • Able to commit to dates leading up to Christmas and working weekends is a must.

Above all, great applicants will need to have a positive attitude to help create a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.

Pay rate is £10 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more with our sales incentives.
