Our story
We’ve come a long way in five years; from the original Bakehouse kitchen table to a multi-award winning theatrical production company specialising in delivering immersive and interactive encounters. From our large multi-disciplinary HQ in Bristol, our skilled team of client, logistics, creative, design and production managers cook up a range of magical theatrical experiences for both UK and international clients. Over the years we’ve secured access to all the ingredients we need to create unexpected moments of pop-up joy. We rise to every new challenge and collaboration, as a result, our business is thriving. Last year 120,000 people took part in over 500 Bakehouse shows in 40+ towns and cities across the UK and beyond and our work was seen by millions.
What we believe
Our mission is to create unexpected moments of delight and wonder, delivering meaningful connections between performers and audiences. We bring people together through story and play in new environments, making memories and engaging imaginations. We work with a variety of clients including brands, retailers, public sector and cultural organisations, with a wide variety of audiences, often people who don’t engage with traditional theatre. We are a company that great performers and makers want to work with, we pay well and give respect. We deliver to campaign objectives, always with some added Bakehouse magic, leaving audiences, and clients, feeling positive.
