Santa’s Marvellous Marmalade Adventure was Bakehouse’s creative response to a complex brief for one of our wonderful clients…

The brief called for an amalgamation of a licensed outdoor Christmas experience which included a traditional Santa grotto, visitor trail and free Meet Paddington experience.

The result was spectacular – we themed the Christmas market and ice rink area, set out a trail of hidden giant marmalade sandwiches, created a free drop-in Meet Paddington Storytime session, and devised an absolutely stunning performer-lead walkthrough theatrical experience leading to Santa. The grotto linked to the Paddington narrative through a giant marmalade jar photo op, and included a huge magical Christmas stocking, and a “flying” owl all woven together is a heart-warming bespoke Christmas narrative centred on care for others.
